Why Scottsdale Homeowners Hire Us

Scottsdale's cabinet jobs run high-end. From McCormick Ranch's mid-century-modern remodels to McDowell Mountain Ranch family homes, Grayhawk's golf-course estates, and DC Ranch / Silverleaf custom builds, the budget is there to do it right. We come from Surprise — 35–45 minutes via the 101 — and that's the trade-off we're honest about: we're not five minutes away. We are competitive on price and willing to drive because Scottsdale projects are typically scope-rich (cabinets + counters + tile + millwork all in one job), which makes the trip worth it both ways.

McCormick Ranch mid-century

McCormick Ranch's 1970s ranch homes get full kitchen tear-outs. The original cabinets are tired, soffits drop the ceiling unnecessarily, and openings to the great room are too narrow. We modernize without erasing the era — clean shaker doors, integrated panels, often a waterfall island.

Grayhawk & DC Ranch luxury

Grayhawk and DC Ranch projects are typically full custom: 14–18 ft islands, library walls, 60-inch ranges, walk-in pantries with secondary prep kitchens. Six- to ten-week build, $40K–$120K all-in for cabinets alone.

Old Town & Arcadia condos

Smaller scopes — one-wall kitchens, condo-conversion projects in Arcadia and downtown Scottsdale. We're set up to deliver compact custom that store-bought stock won't fit.

Drive time from our Surprise shop: 35–45 minutes via Loop 101. Service area landmarks: TPC Scottsdale, Scottsdale Fashion Square, McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Old Town arts district.

Common Questions

Scottsdale Cabinet FAQs

How much do custom cabinets cost in Scottsdale?
Scottsdale 2026 cabinet pricing: stock $4,000–$8,000, semi-custom $10,000–$20,000, fully custom $20,000–$45,000 for an average 25-linear-foot kitchen. Refacing $4,500–$9,000. Our West Valley shop is 40 minutes via the 101 from Scottsdale; no Phoenix-overhead markup on your quote.
Do you serve all of Scottsdale?
Yes — Old Town Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, McCormick Ranch, DC Ranch, Gainey Ranch, and the rest of Scottsdale. 40 minutes via the 101 from our Surprise shop via 101 / Loop 202.
Can you handle Scottsdale HOA paperwork?
Yes. We provide AZ ROC #341113, certificate of insurance, scope of work, and start/finish dates. We've worked through most Scottsdale HOAs.
What's popular in Scottsdale kitchens right now?
Inset construction, stained hardwood (rift white oak, walnut), painted shaker in greige and warm whites. Premium hardware (Top Knobs, Emtek). Higher-end appliances integrated panel-ready.
Why drive from Surprise to Scottsdale instead of hiring a Scottsdale contractor?
Two reasons: pricing and trade-coordination. Scottsdale-based contractors price in their Scottsdale overhead. We don't, and we still bring the same fabrication quality. On scope coordination — we self-perform countertop fabrication, cabinet install, and cabinet-tile interface; you don't pay 4 separate trades to coordinate themselves.
Do you handle Scottsdale historic district approvals?
Old Town Scottsdale and parts of Arcadia have historic / overlay-district review. We provide documentation in the format the City of Scottsdale historic preservation office requires. Lead time is 3–6 weeks for review.
Can you match imported European cabinet hardware?
Yes. Scottsdale projects often source hardware from Häfele, Blum, Rocky Mountain, or Sun Valley Bronze. We integrate any spec'd hardware into our cabinet build — no upcharge as long as the parts arrive on time.
How do you handle high-end finishes (lacquer, exotic veneer)?
Lacquer requires a controlled-spray environment which we maintain in our Surprise shop. Exotic veneer (walnut burl, fumed oak, rift white oak, anigre) we sequence-match within a 5-board run. Lead time is longer — plan 8–10 weeks build.
