Glendale runs the West Valley spectrum: original 1960s ranch homes near downtown and Catlin Court, the 1990s–2000s build-out across Arrowhead Ranch and Hillcrest Ranch, and newer luxury inventory north of the Loop 101 in Stetson Valley. Our Surprise fabrication shop is 12–18 minutes from any Glendale ZIP via Bell Rd or the 101, so we don't mark up for windshield time.
The Arrowhead 1990s/2000s housing stock is our most-quoted Glendale work. The cabinet boxes are usually solid oak or birch ply — perfectly sound. What's dated is the honey-oak finish, the open soffits, and the cathedral-arch doors. Refacing in painted shaker with soft-close hardware runs $4,500–$9,000 and looks like a full remodel.
Stetson Valley, Marbella Vineyards, and Hillcrest Ranch buyers often inherit builder-grade cabinets they want upgraded inside the first two years. We swap the doors and add tall pantry pulls, glass uppers, or a new island base in matched finish without touching the rest.
The Catlin Court historic district has 1920s–1940s bungalows where stock cabinets don't fit anything. Custom face-frame in Shaker or inset reproduction is the move. Expect 6–10 weeks build, $20K+ for a kitchen.
