Peoria runs from Old Town's mid-century ranches, through the build-out belt of Vistancia and Westwing Mountain, up to the Trilogy active-adult community near Lake Pleasant. The cabinet conversation changes by ZIP. Original Peoria homes (85345) need full kitchen rebuilds — soffits, asbestos-suspect older counters, dropped ceilings. Vistancia and Trilogy (85383) want refacing or selective upgrades on builder-grade cabinets that are only 10–15 years old. The Vistancia and Westwing Mountain neighborhoods bought new in 2008–2018 with cabinet packages from Pulte/Maracay/Toll. The wood is fine, the layout is fine, but the doors are slab or a tired raised-panel and the boxes have no soft-close. Refacing in painted shaker with full-overlay doors runs $4,500–$9,000 — half the cost of replacement.
Trilogy at Vistancia and Trilogy at Power Ranch homeowners often want one big change before settling in: new island, new pantry pulls, replace one cabinet run. We'll quote partial scopes — most contractors won't.
