Sun City West is the next-generation Sun City — built starting 1978, mostly 1980s and 90s housing stock. Same active-adult formula, slightly newer construction, slightly larger lots and homes than the original Sun City. We do a steady volume of cabinet work here, 12 minutes from our Surprise shop. The conversations are similar to Sun City: refacing wins, accessibility upgrades are common, snowbird scheduling is normal.
1980s–90s cabinet boxes — good Birch or Oak, just dated. Refacing in painted Shaker $4,500–$9,000, occasionally with island modification or pantry add.
Slightly larger Sun City West homes (Briarwood, Grandview) often have room for an island upgrade or pantry expansion the original 1980s footprint didn't have. We quote modifications, not just replacements.
